An Affair of the Heart, the documentary featuring the special relationship rocker Rick Springfield has with his most ardent fans heads back on the Film Festival circuit in late September with stops in Milwaukee, Boston, Minneapolis and Bend, OR. The most exciting news is the film will have an exclusive theatrical release in New York City the week of October 10-16 to coincide with the release of Springfield’s newest album “Songs for the End of the World” which hits retail outlets and online music sites, such as iTunes on October 9th. In preparation for this increased exposure, Killerwebs Design cranked out a new look to the An Affair of the Heart website in less than 24 hours. Yellow Rick Road Productions requested a simplified design with improved user interface. The front end of the site features a simple static site to make it easy for the every day user to find information about the film. Killerwebs Design also designed the “fan section” of the site which is accessible when one clicks on the Follow the Yellow Rick Road road sign. This section is a more complex database driven website featuring subscriber management, e-newsletter capabilities and frequently updated news exclusive to paying subscribers.
